Mike Courthold is a highly-experienced Barn Dance Caller & MC, based in Hungerford, and available to call & MC with a variety of bands or recorded music to suit any occasion & budget, for events both local and distant. Typical events include barn-dances / ceilidhs at weddings, parties, village or corporate events.

Mike has been folk-dancing since 1970, and calling since 1981, and calls for barn-dances, ceilidhs, and dances for experts, at weddings, parties, village or corporate events, dance workshops, weekend residential events, and folk-festivals throughout England. Mike is proud to have been Dance Director from 2004 until 2020 for the internationally-famous Chippenham Folk Festival, held during the late May Bank-Holiday weekend.
